Dr. D’Angelo is the Vice President and Chief Medical Officer for Magellan Complete Care of Florida. Dr. D’Angelo joined MCC of FL in January of 2020 and oversees all clinical activities to ensure MCC of FL provides quality care to members.

With over 25 years in the healthcare industry, Dr. D’Angelo brings a wealth of knowledge to MCC of FL from his previous roles as a clinician in Pediatrics and Physical Medicine and as a medical officer for United Health Group. He was an integral member of the founding board of the first FQHC in Staten Island, New York and served on numerous Medical Society committees for the State of New York. He also served as a consultant for New York State’s Compassionate Care Act.

Dr. D’Angelo completed his medical training with residencies in Pediatrics and Physical Medicine at Georgetown University and George Washington University. He holds an Masters of Business Administration in Healthcare from George Washington University. Dr. D’Angelo is an active supporter of patient education and empowerment in their wellbeing.
