Temporary Coverage for Hepatitis A Vaccine (Adults 21 and older)
Our goal is to help you get the care that you need so you can live a longer and healthier life. Since 2018, there have been more than 22,000 cases of Hepatitis A in the U.S. and over 2,500 cases in Florida.
The Florida Department of Health (FDOH) sent a Hepatitis A health advisory. This notice gave information to help everyone know more about the virus. It also talked about getting a vaccine to keep you from catching the virus. Since there are many people being affected by Hepatitis A, Magellan Complete Care is offering temporary coverage of Hepatitis A vaccines without prior authorization.
If you are a Magellan Complete Care member aged 21 or older, please see your primary care doctor for more information on how you can get the vaccine. You can also call Magellan Complete Care’s Customer Service Department at 800-327-8613 (TTY 711) if you have any questions or would like more information.
